The Raranga Matihiko programme
Raranga Matihiko | Weaving Digital Futures Raranga Matihiko delivers innovative digital technology learning to those with limited digital learning opportunities and is part of the Ministry of Education Digital Technologies for All Equity Fund initiative. Working directly with students and their teachers, our specialist learning facilitators will deliver the new Digital Technologies and Hangarau Matihiko curricula content. Our learning facilitators will co-design the programme with each classroom teacher/kaiako to ensure the programme is tailored to support existing classroom learning. This comprehensive programme is delivered over the course of a ten-week period per year including a two-day visit to the local museum, visits to each class and online support. Available now to decile 1-3 schools and all Kura in Wellington, Hawke’s Bay, Auckland and Waitangi/Northland regions.
